Personal finance
Finance Manager
Spending, budgets and savings goals in the palm of a hand.
The problem
Many people only learn where the money went once the month is over. Logging spending by hand is tedious so it gets dropped, and banking apps list transactions without showing where you are overspending.
The solution
This design opens on the total balance and the four most used actions, followed by recent transactions already sorted into budgets. Logging an expense takes one screen with the remaining budget shown, and the budgets page sets a monthly limit and alerts before it is exceeded.
The screens
- 01Overview on a phone: balance and recent transactions
- 02Add expense: amount, category and remaining budget before saving
- 03Budgets: monthly limit and overspend alerts
Key features
Overview first
The total balance, this month's income and spending, and four main actions appear the moment the app opens.
One-screen expense log
Amount, category, account and remaining budget on a single screen.
Monthly budgets
Set spending limits and get alerts at 80% used and when one is exceeded.
Categorised transactions
Every transaction is tagged with a spending category and budget.
